I scream you scream we all scream for icecream

Yesterday, Nerina was getting homesick and started to miss her Daddy. We are visiting my family for 3-4 wks before Daddy comes and joins us at the end of the trip.  I decided to take Nerina over to Coldstone ice cream for some mouth-watering strawberry ice cream topped with colorful sprinkles.  We sat outside, enjoyed the hot Jersey weather, and dug into our big bowl of fun...I took some "Fill the Frame" shots.  I was part of a photography challenge for awhile and have been slacking majorly. Our trip to Coldstones gave me some inspiration to dig in again.  This weeks topic was "Fill the frame",which requires you to zoom in on your subject, and bring as much of it into your photograph as you can.  Here are some pictures in which I was trying to achieve just that...

Uncles are special...

Nerina loves my brother...all kids love their uncles, after all uncles spoil them with wonderful goodies and presents.  They are sweet, kind and so fun to be around...they do those silly things us parents don't get a chance to do...

Yeungling....

One thing I love about going home to visit the family on the east coast is the taste of a nice cold Yeungling beer...

Family Visits..

My Father-in-laws brother was in town recently and Nerina got so attached to him and vice-versa. We had some fun taking pictures the day he left to go back home....
