Playing with the sun

I am getting so bored of shooting in my backyard. Yesterday, the hubby was kind enough to take me out to a nearby community where they have a nice view of the sun.  I really wanted to try and practice some sun flare & silhouette shots.  It was a successful yet very frustrating experience. Taking pics of the sun right on is very tricky. You have to learn to play with your camera settings to get the effect you want.
