Simply Devine

My eldest Daughter Nerina is almost 2 1/2 year old. She is the love of my life. Here she is sporting an indian kurti. I can picture her in the future looking just as precious.

Indian Princess

I absolutely love embracing the Indian Culture. I feel the culture is so beautiful with all the jewels.  Today was the first day my two year old got into the jewelry.  Grandma (Dadi) gave her some bangles and anklets and boy did she have a BLAST! Modeling them off and having a ball playing with it. I am SO glad to have captured her precious smile when Grandma handed them over to her.  We are lucky to have our Grandparents around to pass on these lovely traditions.  It was really neat to see her dive into the indian culture. I was even able to capture her showing her baby sister her new jewels.
Here are a few shots from our shoot today.  These were all shot with my 50mm lense on manual mode.

Milana's 2nd Birthday

I am still figuring out how to use my SLR to my complete advantage in capturing my daughters.

Time is truly flying away. I can't believe my youngest is already 2 months old. She's already growing up and one day won't be my lil snuggly wuggly baby.

Here are a few shots of the girls from yesterday on my lil ones 2nd month birthday.
Enjoy!

Dress Up!

My Daughter and I had a fabulous time the other day. We played dress up for the first time and she had a BLAST! It was so fun to just dress her up all crazy and have the opportunity to practice my picture taking. She is almost 2 1/2 and I feel we are really starting to connect. Its super fun to do the girly stuff with her. We had a wonderful afternoon of being super crazy and silly. Here are a few of our shots from our fun filled afternoon.

"Stop it Sun" Don't bother me

I label this post "Stop it Sun" Don't bother me. My daughter Nerina says "Stop, dont bother me" in a friendly, joking way when we tease or tickle her. Its full of laughter, joy and playfulness. After that we usually move onto something else and stop bothering her. She just recently got frustrated when I would put her in the car and the sun would shine right on her. So she tells us "stop it, sun" dont bother me. She thinks that me and her daddy can move the sun another place so it wont bother her. Its really quite funny how she thinks we have these magical powers to do that. Its so innocent how kids think theyre parents can change the world for them.:)

Yesterday we took a family trip to Happy Hallow and she wore sunglasses for the first time. She absolutely loved it. She wore it for a good amount of time. She felt super cool and like a rock star!! It was so fun to see her go through the new experience. Although, I'm not sure if she realized the glasses protected her eyes - and that Mommy & Daddy didn't move the sun. :)

Cheers to kids being so innocent and mommy & daddy being their world!

Please leave feedback re: my pictures of her w/and w/out her new shades. I'd love to know what you think :)
